Where Browserberg is the better fit

Still a US vendor


On-premises deployment answers where the browsers run. It does not answer who the counterparty is, which is the question a CLOUD Act review actually asks.

Pricing is hard to predict


Per-session creation charges plus hourly plus egress means the bill depends on session churn and page weight, both of which are properties of the sites you automate rather than of your plan.

Reliability figure is self-reported


Their 97.3% session reliability is a vendor number. So are most numbers in this category, including some of ours — which is why we are building a reproducible public benchmark instead.

Migrating from Anchor Browser

  1. Map saved identities onto vault records

    The concepts line up closely. Check how each credential is scoped, because our release is bound to the registrable site.

  2. Re-test the portals that use a second factor

    TOTP and photoTAN paths are the ones worth re-running by hand before you cut over.

  3. Ask both vendors the same compliance questions

    Certifications, sub-processors, jurisdiction, retention. The answers differ in ways a feature table does not show.

Does an on-premises deployment solve the CLOUD Act question?

It solves where the browsers run. It does not change who your counterparty is, and a US-incorporated vendor remains subject to US legal process regardless of where the software executes. Whether that matters is your legal team's call, not ours.

How does your vault differ from saved identities?

The mechanism we care about is placeholder indirection: the model sees a token, the page receives the secret, and the plaintext never enters a prompt or an LLM provider's logs. Release is scoped to the registrable site, so a credential for one portal cannot be released on another.

You are behind Anchor on certifications. Why choose you?

Because of jurisdiction, and only if jurisdiction is what your evaluation turns on. If it is not, Anchor is further along and we would rather say so than waste your quarter.
